Support BADP this holiday season!

We are in the midst of our first holiday fundraising drive!

To support our work in 2013, we hope to raise $1000 by January 18th.

We believe each person’s reproductive experiences are unique and deserving of compassionate support, and it has been incredibly rewarding to do this work in the Bay Area community. In order for us to reach more people and provide the highest quality of services, we need your help!

We operate on a very small budget of personal donations. Our costs are low because our services are are provided by the incredible energy and commitment of our compassionate volunteers! These funds will help us train new abortion doulas, provide at-home support for women having medication abortions, and grow our monthly Salon Series speaker’s bureau events to reach larger Bay Area audiences.

Donations in any amount will be greatly appreciated. You can donate online here, or you can write a check made out to Liz Donnelly, BADP Treasurer and email fundraising@bayareadoulaproject.org to get our mailing address.

To learn more about us, please visit our facebook page. Or you can ask a BADP doula — we love sharing about the work we’re doing and why it’s so meaningful to us.

Warm wishes for the holiday season,

The Bay Area Doula Project

Serious question, how many times have you seen anatomy photos with Black women and Black babies in the womb? At the doctors office, medical books, anywhere?

This image is not only beautiful but it's POWERFUL @ebereillustrate MORE OF THIS PLEASEšŸ˜

This is one reason that keeping abortion legal is not enough. It's already extremely difficult for many people -- even in CA -- to arrange funding, travel, childcare, etc. It's also why we do what we do. When things are already that hard, it's vital to have a support system.
